Slip and Trip Fallsand other types of Premises Injuries Are Very Common Compensation May be Available
In the words of a famous commercial, "I've fallen and I can't get up." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQlpDiXPZHQ
The most common response people give me when they have fallen is "I was so embarrassed." "I didn't want to tell anyone."
Unfortunately falls can lead to very serious injuries. If someone is responsible for the fall you may be able to collect compensation for your injuries. Common types of falls are slipping on wet floors, floors that are too slippery to walk on due to improper maintenance, trips over improperly placed wires, trips over improperly laid cement, trips over cement disturbed by the elements or tree roots. Other types of premises liability include injuries caused when chairs fall apart, or when something falls off the wall, ceiling or shelf on a person. Sometimes a store clerk is in one aisle and knocks something over onto an unsuspecting person in the other aisle. Something very low sticking out into the walkway so that customers cannot see the item. Rotting wood gives way when you walk on it. Stairs are unsafely built or maintained or fail to have necessary hand rails.
If you have been injured, and you think someone else is responsible for that injury give me a call I can help.
